About Me
I am a fully trained and insured Swedish massage and Sports & Remedial therapist. I offer a holistic and person-centred approach to massage. I am empathetic and non-judgemental.
I received my Swedish Massage Diploma from Scottish Massage Schools and my Diploma in Remedial and Sports massage from Advanced Massage Techniques School. I am also fully qualified in On Site Seated Acupressure massage.
I live in Fairmilehead, Edinburgh with my husband and 2 young daughters. I enjoy sea swimming, sitting by a fire on the beach and getting a massage!
Treatments
Swedish
I offer classic “Swedish” massage. This is suitable for most people, has many benefits for the body and mind and is incredibly relaxing.
Swedish massage uses long strokes and light-to-firm pressure (dependent on your preference) to activate the parasympathetic nervous system and bring the body into a state of calm.
Sports and Remedial
This allows me to treat specific soft tissue conditions to reduce pain and increase range of movement.
On Site Seated Acupressure Massage
This wonderful treatment is carried out on a specially designed massage chair. The standard routine last 20 mins and is carried out fully clothed and without the use of oil.
This makes is a perfect treatment to receive in an office or event environment.
How to Book - Sano
I offer massage at Sano Studio, Millar Crescent, Morningside, alongside talented colleagues providing Pilates classes, beauty treatments, massage and other Holistic treatments and workshops.
My availability at Sano is:
Mondays 5.30pm-9pm
Fridays 5.30pm-9pm
These are great for an indulgent, relaxing massage at the beginning or end of a hard week - the Sano Signature Treatment includes hot towels and hot stones.
